Filling The Gaps

Food for Thought

Welcome :)

without comments

It`s always difficult when it comes to beginnings and it will always be, doesn`t matter if it`s about the beginning of а new job, new relationship, new…blog. I guess I should be lucky as among them mine looks the easiest one.

Filling the gaps is a place I`m going to share what I`m studying or what I`m finding interesting and (probably) useful for students like me or just people interested in the economy field. As the latter is quite broad term, here you will be able to find topics from management, HR, sales, analysis etc.

I`m going to post links to articles, review of books, case studies, materials concerning interesting topics and actually whatever I find helpful for me and I have the feeling it could help somebody else as well. (at least that`s the initial idea :) )

Here is the place I would like to mention that 1) my English it`s not perfect and I would be glad if you correct me from times to times (as often as possible ;-) ) because one learns better with other`s help and 2) I will be posting in both Bulgarian and English because translation takes time and I`m trying to use mine quite carefully. However, since September 2007 I`m studying abroad and till I go back to Bulgaria, I guess most of the posts would be written in English. ( IX. 08, 1st update- I came back already :) )

Anyway, remember that this is just a way I`m helping myself to learn what-I-should-have-already-learn, to remind myself what-I-have-already-learn and to find more information on what-I-want(ed)-to-have-the-chance-to-learn :)

I don`t know how often I am going to add new materials. Everything depends mainly from my university schedule and some other activities as well. And as the key of a good time management strategy is the prioritizing, the blog will not be on the top of my list. At least for now.

What about me? Hm… If you speak Bulgarian, have a look here. If you don`t- I`m a student at the University of Economics- Varna, major- International Business Relations, 3d year, 4th year. From September 2007 I was studying at the Warsaw School of Economics and I stayed there till the end of June (a whole academic year). Unfortunately, I couldn`t stay any longer .

I`m mostly interested in Sales and HR because I find them quite challenging and I believe everybody should focus on a field where he or she has some skills and could bring more added value. I am (kind of) sure that everybody could learn maths for example, but it would take different time and efforts. So if you`re from the first ones, say you are among the fastest learners, you have an advantage in this field, right? If not, so go and find another one.

The key for success is finding what kind of qualities we have that could not be teach or learn (or again, probably they can but it would take too much time and won`t make us competitive enough), finding what differs us.

If you want to contact me, you are more than welcome to do so at apieceofme@abv.bg . (I would like to apologize that my email doesn`t sound serious enough but I am afraid to make the one I am using most of the time so public…just in case)

Hope you like the blog and find it somehow useful…
